SUBSTANCE: natural gas flow cooling method is implemented in the following way: flow (10) of mixed cooling agent, which includes the first mixed cooling agent, is passed through one or more number of heat exchangers (12) so that cooled flow (20) of mixed cooling agent can be obtained. At least some part of cooling flow (30) including the second mixed cooling agent us expanded (14) so that one or more expanded cooling flows (40a) are obtained, and at least one of those can be passed through one or more heat exchangers (12) for cooling of flow (10) of mixed cooling agent so that flow (20) of mixed cooling agent, which is used for cooling (22) of hydrocarbon flow (70), is obtained. Temperature (T1) and flow rate (F1) of at least some part of cooled flow (20) of mixed cooling agent is continuously monitored, and flow rate (F2) of flow (30) is constantly monitored using the data on flow rate F1 and temperature T1.
EFFECT: use of the invention will allow improving accuracy and control speed and increasing operating efficiency of compressor.
