SUBSTANCE: furnace includes longitudinal axis and elongated panels, many hollow partitions arranged in the housing of each panel so that they are parallel to longitudinal axis, perpendicular wall of the first end, which is located at the first end of each panel, perpendicular wall of the second end, which is located at the second end of each panel, and at least one or more intermediate perpendicular walls located between the first and the second ends. Hollow partitions and perpendicular walls determine roasting pits for stock pile laying of carbon-containing products into them. Roasting pits have length Lp and width Wp; the above length Lp is at least by 15 times larger than the above width Wp.
EFFECT: cost-effective manufacture and operation of furnace.
