FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for automatic determination of concentration of gold in cyanide solutions in form of a [Au(CN)2]- ion has a housing with a rigidly attached pump and a measuring cell which is a vessel with a cover divided by a partition having pipes for inlet, drainage and release of solutions; there are holes in the cover in which measuring and comparison electrodes are placed, which are connected to input of a high-resistance converter. The apparatus additionally has a microprocessor controller and a system for automatic calibration of the apparatus. The high-resistance converter can convert the voltage signal at the input to a unifying standard analogue current signal at the output; the input of the high-resistance converter is connected to the measuring and comparison electrodes, and the output of the high-resistance converter is connected to the microprocessor controller, wherein the containers for calibration solutions are linked through T-socket by pipes to the input of the pump mounted inside the housing; the output of the pump is connected by a pipe to the input of the measuring cell.

EFFECT: invention enables continuous measurement of concentration of gold, carry out periodic automatic calibration of the apparatus, transmit information to a distance and lowers the cost of measurement.
