FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: mobile tower has a base mounted on a vehicle, on which a hoisting telescopic mast fitted with swing hydraulic cylinders is pivotally mounted, as well as front and back supports which can get into contact with the ground and are fitted with hydraulic jacks. The front supports are self-contained and swivel and are mounted on the base with possibility of occupying a transportation position along the vehicle within its lateral dimension. The telescopic mast has an outer basic section and movable intermediate and front sections. On the front section of the telescopic mast on the side of the end face of the latter, there is a support platform for the antenna system, which is mounted with possibility of turning about the horizontal axis lying perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the telescopic mast. The mobile tower is provided with a drive for rotating the support platform, three collapsible composite tension members with possibility of releasing the telescopic mast in operating positions in the unfolded state of the mobile tower and a drive for fitting and stretching the tension members. Each tension member includes three straight parts whose length is adjustable, some ends of which are pivotally attached to one connecting element and the other ends are pivotally connected through corresponding fastening assemblies to the movable intermediate and front sections of the telescopic mast, the self-contained rotating supports and the back part of the base, respectively. In the plan view, the tension members are arranged radially relative the longitudinal axis of the telescopic mast, and the lower fastening assemblies of the tension members are arranged uniformly on a circle relative the longitudinal axis of the telescopic mast. One of the tension members lies in a vertical plane which is geometrically superposed with the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the base. In another version, different antenna systems can be mounted on the support platform.
EFFECT: broader operational capabilities and high degree of standardisation of the mobile tower.
