FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: mobile antenna unit has a body-container which can be mounted on a vehicle, said body-container having instrument and assembly compartments; an elevating platform, on which is mounted a rotary support with an antenna and a drive system for changing its position in space, which is provided with a rotary drive, is pivotally mounted with possibility of turning in the vertical plane; the rotary support is configured to move beyond the assembly unit when the elevating platform turns in the vertical plane and has an intermediate platform which can be pivotally mounted on said elevating platform with possibility of assuming a horizontal position; a rotating platform, on which a rocking part with a mirror antenna is mounted with possibility of turning in the vertical plane, is mounted on the intermediate platform with possibility of turning in the horizontal plane.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the mobile antenna unit, which enables to make a compact full-revolving antenna unit, which enables to significantly increase the effective area of the reflector of the mirror antenna.
