SUBSTANCE: method to confirm a request made in respect to an IPv6 address, including a network routing prefix and a cryptographically generated interface identifier, a request including a delegation certificate, containing at least an open key of the main unit, one or more additional parameters, a specification of a row or a set of prefixes of IPv6 network routing, identification of the main authorised unit and a digital signature calculated at least from the specified identification and the specified specification, using a closed key related to the mentioned open key, while: it is confirmed that the specified prefix of IPv6 network routing of the mentioned address is contained within the specified specification; it is confirmed that the specified open key and the specified additional parameter (parameters) may be used to generate the specified interface identifier; and the specified signature is confirmed.
EFFECT: reduced load to data transfer in a network.
