FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: spiral hair coil is found on a child's top of head. The spiral hair coil parameters are described by the coordinates system; for this purpose a straight tangent a is drawn through a hair inflection point in the spiral hair coil. A straight line b is drawn from the middle of the spiral coil O to pass through the hair inflection point to make a point B. A perpendicular is made from the point B on an X-axis to make a point A thereby making an angle BOA. It is followed by measuring ctg BOA which is used to assess the calcium metabolism status in the child's body.
EFFECT: method enables qualitative and fast assessment of the calcium metabolism with no expensive methods used.
