SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator includes rotor housing (1) that constricts separator chamber (2) and that has gas inlet (3) to separator chamber (2) and gas outlet (4) from separator chamber (2), and rotor (8) that is capable of being rotated about rotation axis (R). Rotor (8) includes a pile of cone-shaped separator discs (22) that restrict spatial gaps (27) between themselves by means of spatially spreading elements (26, 30), through which gas flows. Spatial gaps (27) between separator discs (22) are open for gas flow in circular direction at least on their radially external part.

EFFECT: invention allows performing effective separation of contaminants in the form of gas particles.
