FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing foam plastic based on urea formaldehyde resin and can be used for heat shielding and sound insulation of garret floors, roofs and walls in building. The method includes a step of foaming aqueous solution of urea formaldehyde resin in the presence of a surfactant, subsequent addition into the foamed resin solution of filler - gypsum and an acidic curing agent, mixing the mixture to a homogeneous mass and subsequent solidification of the mixture. Before adding to the foamed resin solution, the gypsum is mixed with aqueous solution of urea formaldehyde resin in ratio of 0.5-1.0:1.0.

EFFECT: obtaining foamed mass with high fluidity, for preventing solidification of the foamed mass in bags when feeding it to given position points of a building while maintaining the required strength characteristics of the foamed plastic after solidification, which enables to produce grout of the foamed mass in a continuous process.
