SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallic material with protective film that features lubing qualities and corrosion resistance, and to method of its production. In compliance with first version, proposed material comprises metal substrate and phosphate-based film making the protective film. Said film is arranged on metal substrate surface and has surface part. Note here that said surface part contains Zr. In compliance with second version, proposed material proposed material comprises metal substrate, phosphate-based film on surface of the latter and Zr-based phosphate film arranged on the surface of aforesaid film. Said Zr-based phosphate film consists, mainly, of zirconium phosphate and hydro phosphate. Note also that phosphate-based film and that of Zr-based phosphate are protective films.

EFFECT: higher rust resistance.
