SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steel sheets for hot forming, which can be used for production of parts, in particular parts of vehicle chassis, suspension parts and body structural elements, as well as methods for production of parts from steel sheets by hot forming. Steel sheet for hot forming comprises coating layer containing 10-25 wt% Ni, Zn and unavoidable impurities making rest, and with mass per unit area of 10-90 g/m², and lubricating layer containing solid lubricating material deposited in said order on steel sheet surface. Method for production of part by hot forming comprises cold forming of said steel sheet for hot forming with further heating of steel, subjected to cold forming, to temperature of phase transformation As₃ to 1000 °C and hot forging of steel.

EFFECT: providing steel sheet for hot forming, having improved resistance to oxidation, ability to contain formation of scale and zinc oxide and improved adhesion to coating.
