FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular, to facilities for erection of piles of larger diameter and their treatment in order to form a pile body or to compact the surrounding soil. The method for electrohydraulic deformation of a pile shaft with the help of an electric discharge developed in an electrodischarge gap placed in the pile shaft. The electrodischarge gap is arranged next to the wall of the pile shaft in the area of planned treatment of the pile shaft. The electric discharge in the electrodischarge gap is organised forcedly at the required time by means of controlled supply of voltage to the electrodischarfe gap that exceeds voltage of its breakthrough. The parameters of the electrodischarge gap are selected from the condition, when the pressure acting at the pile shaft wall that occurs in case of electrodischarge gap breakthrough is higher than the pressure of soil deformation in the place of the planned treatment of the pile shaft.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of electrodischarge treatment of a pile shaft, simplified design, increased efficiency of a device.
