FIELD: physics, computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and specifically to multifunctional terminals. The multifunctional floor-mounted terminal has a housing with a middle and a back part, a flat screen for displaying and inputting information in form of an external transparent touch panel and a flat display behind said panel, both mounted on a common chassis and having equal dimensions in the plan view, a flat floor-mounted base; the supporting back part of the housing is in form of a door which, in the closed position, is inclined by 1.5-4.0° upwards and backwards, protrudes from the sides and from the top beyond the size of the supporting back part of the housing and is mounted thereon by vertical hinges placed on its back side, wherein the supporting back part of the housing has, made from sheet metal, an upper wall slanted downwards and backwards, two identical lateral walls and a vertical back wall lying in between, and below the supporting back part of the housing, two identical loads are placed symmetrically about the longitudinal middle line, wherein said lateral walls lie symmetrically about the middle longitudinal plane and at an angle α=45-70° to it, and the back wall is perpendicular to this plane.

EFFECT: easier preventive and repair works, easier use of the terminal owing to windows for enabling the user to access functional blocks, increasing the useful volume of the housing without increasing its size.
