FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: modular electric device (10) is arranged as capable of installation inside an electric panel and comprises the following: a jacket (12) with a rear wall (14) for interaction with a fixation facility (20) for installation of an electric device (10), front (16), upper (22) and lower (24) walls and a pair of mutually opposite side walls (26, 28); at least one lead of an electric slot (30), designed to receive an electric conducting cable (32) for attachment of an electric device (10) to the specified electric cable; a protective facility (36, 38), designed for prevention of arc discharges between neighbouring leads of electrical slots and/or electrical conducting cables, which may be connected to the specified lead of the electrical slot (30); and a facility of mechanical connection, making it possible to movably connect the protective facility (36, 38) with the specified jacket (12). The protective facility (36, 38) comprises at least one plate protective element fixed on one of the specified opposite side walls (28) of the jacket (12).
EFFECT: improved reliability of protection against arc discharges and simplified assembly.
