CURRENT PROTECTION FOR MONITORING SYSTEMS BASED ON ELECTRODES Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B5/428

Abstract RU 2600799 C2

FIELD: medicine; electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection patients from excessive current connected to the monitoring systems based on electrodes in form of electrocardiographic devices. Device for transmission of physiological signals obtained from the patient to physiological signal processing circuit in the patient monitoring device containing at least one element of safety circuit containing: a) first signal conductor which has inlet end to be connected with the electric wire, connected to sensor of physiological signal to obtain physiological signal and has an outlet end to be connected to the second signal conductor connected to the patient monitoring device; b) first screen for screening of the first signal conductor and configured to be connected to the second screen arranged for screening of mentioned second signal conductor or to be coupled with wire screen arranged for screening of mentioned electric wire; and c) resistor made with possibility of connection between mentioned first screen and mentioned second screen or made with possibility of connection between mentioned first screen and mentioned wire screen while mentioned first signal conductor is connected to mentioned second signal conductor or to the electric wire.

EFFECT: higher reliability of protection of patients is obtained due to more efficient separation wire screens to prevent excessive currents of the screen.
