FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to diaphragm to be used in valve intended for parallel passage of flows separated with it (i.e. during dosing process), valve design and its use in barrels. Diaphragm has at least one sealing section, fixation section and flexible section connected to fixation section and at least to one sealing section that is equipped with rigid ring-shaped element. Rigid ring-shaped element can be coated, at least partially, with elastomeric material.
EFFECT: diaphragm allows simplifying valve assembly process, reducing the material weight required for its manufacture, thus ensuring its reliability at application.
