FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering of inorganic substances and is intended for producing table salt from high-mineralised underground brine. The method involves basic evaporation of brine to obtain a suspension of crystalline salt, separating table salt residue from the obtained suspension by centrifuging, washing said residue and drying, returning 25-75% of the centrate for mixing with the starting brine, obtaining additional table salt from the remaining part of the centrate, said additional table salt is repulped with the washing solution of the basic residue of table salt and returned to the basic evaporation and crystallisation process.
EFFECT: obtaining high grade table salt from natural underground brine, wherein total amount of CaCl2 and MgCb2 per 100 kg NaCl exceeds 10 kg.
