FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: chain for chain screen of rotating furnace consists of links connected to each other, where external surface of each link is provided with finning, and internal surface of each link is curved and has the radius that is equal to half pitch of chain or to radius of curved part of the chain pitch; according to the invention, finning is made in the form of a broken line in cross section of link, the pieces of which represent chords of ellipse, the larger axis of which is longitudinal axis of the link cross section.
EFFECT: simpler design since plain shape of the link cross section accelerates its introduction to batch production and reduces manufacturing costs, improves dust collection of chain screen due to more developed external surface of the chain link.
