FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: chain consists of links attached to each other. Cross section of each chain link has spindle shape with ratio of its vertical overall dimension to horizontal overall dimension, which is equal to 0.3-0.9. As per the first version, outline of external part of the cross section of each link is formed with two crossing dished arcs of circle. As per the first version, outline of external part of the cross section of each link is formed with two crossing dished arcs of circle. As per the second version, the outline is formed with two crossing dished arcs of circle and a dished arc of circle, which intersects them at contact point of the chain links. As per the first and the third versions, outline of internal part of cross section of each link is formed with two convergent straight lines and a dished arc of circle, which intersects them at contact point of the chain links. Radius of dished arc of circle is equal to radius of curved part of internal ring of the chain link.
EFFECT: enlarging chain heat exchange surface, improving dust collection, intensifying heat exchange, reducing metal consumption of a chain screen, enlarging contact surface between links and increasing margin of strength of the chain.
