SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heel stop for footwear, which comprises a working element which has the shape of a ball, at which lower part there is a "skirt" with sharp edges, and a spring-loaded plunger is placed in the hole, and the ball is placed in a cylindrical housing having an inner spherical surface, and in the upper part of the housing the spring stabilising the position of the ball is mounted.

EFFECT: technical result is to prevent sliding on any surface without necessity to switch to the working and non-working positions.
