FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of solutions used in recovery of sodium cation-exchnage filter in water treatment. Proposed method comprises adding to regenerant including hard salts (MgCl2, CaCl2) of fine-disperse sorbent in the form of fibrillated cellulose fibers, step-by-step treatment of regenerant by stoichiometric amount of alkali at first step and sodium carbonate at second step to form dispersions containing fibrous particles with Mg(OH)2 and CaCO3 particles bonded thereto, respectively. Then, dispersions are saturated and floated to extract flotation slime. Magnesium and calcium compounds are extracted separately at every step.
EFFECT: simplified continuous process.
