FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wheel structure, primarily for vehicles. Wheel includes rim 2 with outer contour, rim holder 3, hub with square hole 4, and is mounted on axle 5 cross-section of which represents Relo triangle of width equal to side of the square. When wheel is rolling its axle moves at constant distance from rolling surface. This is achieved by rim's contour specification by equidistant straight envelope line, swinging together with the axle relative to stationary square hole. The axle is mounted so that given stationary straight line is parallel to rolling surface. Two versions of wheel with specified position of its axle and with various characteristics of line of rolling contact are defined.
EFFECT: increased wheel stability due to reduction of curvature of rim contour line and enhanced useful functions of wheel.
