FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to motor tire design. Tire (2) is provided with tread part (T) and a pair of side parts (S). Convectional area (32) is located in section which is on outer surface (34) of each side area (S) and on radially inner side from place (PA) where the tire has maximum width. Convectional area (32) contains large number of cavities (36) recessed into outer surface. Contour of each cavity edge (36) represents circumference. Relation of each cavity depth to outer diameter of cavity (36) is not less than 0.2 but not greater than 0.5. Relation of distance between centre of cavity (36) and centre of other adjacent cavity (36) to outer diameter of cavity is not less than 1.2 but not greater than 2. Preferably, in the tire (2) the outer diameter of cavities (36) is less than 3 mm but not greater than 10 mm. Preferably, in the tire (2) the layout of cavities (36) represents orthogonal array.
EFFECT: longer tire life.
