FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing composite materials based on chemical fibres and ion-exchange resins and can be used to produce polymer composite materials with ion-exchange properties. The method of producing polymer moulding material involves saturating fibrous filler with a mixture of monomers - paraphenol sulphonic acid with formalin, with ratio of the fibrous filler to the mixture of monomers of 1:15. Ion-exchange resin is synthesised on the surface and in the structure of the fibrous filler for 30 minutes and binder is cured at pressure of 0.1-5 MPa. The fibrous filler used is novolac phenol-formaldehyde fabric obtained from the same components as the starting components of the mixture of monomers.
EFFECT: high exchange capacity of the obtained moulding material with ion-exchange properties, low electrical resistance of the material and improved physical and mechanical properties.
