SUBSTANCE: probiotic preparation for viral and bacterial infections contains mixed biomass of the Bacillus subtilis (Russian National Collection of Industrial Microorganisms B-3679) and Bacillus licheniformis (Russian National Collection of Industrial Microorganisms B-4161) bacterial strains in a spore form with titre not less than 109 spore/g, and glauconite. The optimal content of the Bacillus subtilis bacterial spores mixed with the Bacillus licheniformis bacterial spores makes 50%. The preparation is prepared by culture of the bacteria specified above in a glucose-molasses medium at pH - 6.8-7.0, to produce mixed spores in the amount of 0.1-1 wt % of the preparation weight to be mixed with glauconite to the CFU content not less than 109 spore/g. The preparation is produced with the use of the Bacillus licheniformis (Russian National Collection of Industrial Microorganisms B-4161) bacterial strains.

EFFECT: extended range of probiotics possessing higher antibacterial and antiviral activity and higher therapeutic effectiveness in treating and preventing viral and bacterial infections.
