SUBSTANCE: device has a generator for exciting an inductance coil with a binary start-up control input Clg and an excitation signal output OU, an inductance coil with an excitation signal input IU, a sensor unit consisting of n sensors, each having a signal output a multichannel frequency counter with a binary input Clf and output OF, n inputs a controller for processing frequency metre data and generating a detection signal with a generator binary start-up control output Cg.
EFFECT: high noise-immunity and sensitivity, reduced tolerance requirements during manufacturing, possibility of using the disclosed device as a basic cell for designing multifunctional systems for detecting electroconductive objects while using multiple measuring channels.
