One or more buffer regions lie on both sides of each region for controlling optimum power. A region for reproduction only lies in one of the data storage layers such that is lies opposite the region for controlling optimum power of one of the neighbouring data storage layers and at least one buffer region lying on one side of the corresponding region for controlling optimum power.
