FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: when an emergency call is established, a message is generated, and an eCall indicator is provided, at the same time the eCall indicator means whether the eCall is initiated automatically by a terminal or manually by a user, besides, the message contains one of the following: a message of a request for connection management service (CM), a message of Emergency SETUP, or a SETUP message, at the same time the message contains a parameter, which is not a parameter of service category and which contains an eCall indicator, and the message is sent to start an eCall for the terminal. The terminal may exclude sending of alarm for control of mobility and control of connection with wireless networks, excluding an eCall and assigned calls, performance of location update, performance of registration, responses to requests for a call. The terminal may perform alarm exchange with a wireless network for an eCall initiated by the terminal. After initiation of an eCall, the terminal may perform update of location with a wireless network and establishment of a connection for an eCall.

EFFECT: effective exchange of an alarm between a terminal and a wireless network of an emergency call in case of reduction of alarm costs.
