SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication systems for calling rapid response services from an aircraft. The system comprises an on-board network for wireless exchange of communication signals with communication devices of the aircraft crew and/or passengers; a ground-based access network for simultaneous exchange of communication signals with the airline company to which said aircraft belongs, and public safety access point; an air-to-ground network for transmitting said communication signals between the on-board network and the ground-based access network to establish communication between said communication devices and the ground-based communication network; and a rapid response service communication system, configured to respond to calls to rapid response services from a communication device of the aircraft crew and/or passenger, for simultaneous interconnection of said communication device with a crew member through the on-board network and with the public safety access point and/or the airline company which owns the aircraft and/or a government agency through the on-board network, the air-to-ground network and the ground-based access network.

EFFECT: providing rapid communication of a communication device on-board an aircraft with rapid response services.
