FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to thoracic surgery, and can be applied in prevention of spontaneous primary pneumothorax relapse. Essence of method lies in dissection and excision of parietal pleura during videothoracoscopy. Pleurectomy is performed with formation of flap, distinctly delineated on entire perimetre, in form of template, with limited zone of excision of parietal, exclusively costal pleura. Pleurectomy is performed totally - from cupula of pleural cavity to the level of the 10-th intercostal space. After that, parietal pleura is ablated by winding the latter on endoscopic clasp.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to reduce counter-physiological nuances of pleurectomy, increase safety of technical implementation, and neutralise distant limiting changes in hemithorax.
