FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to removal of carbon dioxide from ammonium-bearing flue gas. Proposed method comprises the following stages: (a) producing carbon-dioxide-bearing flue gas; (b) bringing flue gas of stage (a) in contact with ammonium-bearing medium to absorb CO2 from said flue gas, and (c) condensing ammonium present in flue gas from stage (c) to remove ammonium therefrom. Proposed device comprises carbon dioxide absorber receiving flue gas and filled with ammonium-bearing medium, and ammonium condenser whereto fed is flue gas outflowing from said absorber.
EFFECT: decreased consumption of chemicals and emissions.
