FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has an absorber which brings flue gases containing CO2 into contact with a CO2 absorbing gas in order to reduce content of CO2 gas in flue gases, a regenerator 15 which reduces content of CO2 in the saturated solvent such that the regenerated solvent with low content of CO2 is reused in the absorber, at least two compressors 29-1, 29-2, 29-3, 29-4 which compress CO2-containing gas from the regenerator 15 and apparatus 41 for reducing content of oxygen in the CO2-containing gas. The apparatus 41 for reducing content of oxygen is placed between a first separator 31-1 which is placed downstream from the first compressor 29-1, and a second separator 31-2 which is placed downstream from the second compressor 29-2. The apparatus for reducing content of oxygen has a combustion catalyst 47 which facilitates reduction of O2 content in the CO2-containing gas. The apparatus 41 for reducing content of oxygen has a device 49 for feeding hydrogen-containing gas.
EFFECT: efficient removal of CO2 from flue gases, low concentration of oxygen contained in CO2 which is extracted in the regenerator, which reduces clogging up of equipment or pipes or colouring of chemical products.
