SUBSTANCE: tire wearing layer 20 has outer surface T and tread pattern components 10. Minute splines 9 are made on, at least part of said components to extend from wearing layer outer surface to minute spline bottom. Two thinner parts of every functional spline 9 confine, on, at least, partial length and there along, the thicker part to make combination of parts. Every thinner part has depth ad first vertical edge adjoining thicker part and open thereto. Thicker part has top edge located at depth from minute spline bottom, and two first vertical edges adjoining aforesaid two thinner parts separated by variable distance over outer surface T with minimum and maximum magnitudes. Minimum magnitude exists nearby minute spline bottom. Besides, thicker part top edge is open toward minute spline bottom, outside wearing layer.
EFFECT: better bite on damp or icy roads.
