FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: semi-finished product is dried after steaming until reaching the equilibrium moisture content and temperature of at least 100°C by the work surfaces heated to a temperature not exceeding 150°C, with the distance between them of 5…10 mm, by contact method of heat transmission and ejector exhaustion through the lower ironing pad, and by convection method from the upper ironing pad. Then drying is continued with the upper ironing pad placed on the semi-finished product and in the pressing process till removal of residual moisture evaporated by the heated work surfaces by the ejector exhaustion. After the end of drying the semi-finished product is cooled to the ambient temperature by feeding of the compressed air to the processing zone with the pressure of approximately 0.5 MPa.
EFFECT: method enables to automate the process of drying the semi-finished product, while reducing the processing time and improving the quality of processing.
