FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in exciting electromagnetic oscillations of fixed-wavelength in combustion chamber to define amplitude of received signal. I diagnosing, electromagnetic wave wavelength is selected to be smaller than combustion chamber minimum size with piston in TDP.
EFFECT: higher accuracy.
