FIELD: laser equipment.

SUBSTANCE: detonation gas laser (DGL) is based on use of energy of high-efficiency fast detonation combustion or detonation of fuel-oxidant mixture in closed tight volume of optical resonator of laser for creation of laser emission. Comprises a control unit, an energy source, an optical resonator in the form of a hollow, sealed opaque mirror cylinder, inside the optical resonator a Q-switch and a semi-transparent mirror are installed, made of a high-strength and heat-resistant material, inner cavity of the optical resonator is a detonation combustion chamber of a compressed fuel-oxidising mixture, which is supplied by a two-stroke type piston internal combustion engine comprising a working cylinder, is hermetically connected to the resonator inner cavity through the detonation tube with a spark plug and separate fuel, nitrogen, helium and oxidiser supply nozzles, exhaust openings are arranged at cylinder bottom while piston is engaged via crank gear with flywheel engaged with reversible electrical machine.
