SUBSTANCE: display includes a sensor line setting module which successively outputs a read signal meant for enabling simultaneous output by each pair of groups of a region of an image element which includes both a first region of the image element and a second region of the image element, as regions of the image element for detection and is composed of two lines of the image element, a signal for detecting light of each of the first regions of the image element and a signal for detecting dark current of each of the second regions of the image element. In each pair of groups of regions of the image element, outputs of the regions of the image element for detection are connected to different output lines. The display further includes a means of determining light intensity, and the sensor line setting module has a first shift register.
EFFECT: correct compensation for detecting light by using a light detection signal and a dark current detection signal, which are obtained simultaneously and which have small variations.
