SUBSTANCE: device (500) for mixing of the first frame (540-1) of the first input data flow (510-1) and the second frame (540-2) of the second input data flow (510-2) comprises a processing unit (520), designed to generate an output frame (550), where the output frame (550) comprises output spectral data, which characterises the lower part of the output spectrum to the output frequency of transition, and where the output frame comprises output SBR-data, which characterises upper part of the output spectrum above the output frequency of transition by means of energy values in output resolution of a time-frequency grid; a processor unit (520) functions so that output spectral data corresponding to frequencies below the minimum value of transition frequencies of the first frame, the second frame and the output frequency of transition are generated in a spectral area, and output SBR-data corresponding to frequencies of above maximum value of transition frequencies of the first and second frames and output frequency of transition are processed in the SBR-area.
EFFECT: reduced complexity of calculations when mixing audio signals coded with the help of an SBR-coder.
