FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to farm industry, in particular, to fodder production and to an adsorbent fodder additive production method. The adsorbent fodder additive consists of white slurry produced in the process of autoclave desiliconisation of aluminate solutions in alumina production; its production involves white slurry pulping, neutralisation of free alkali contained in white slurry with sulphuric acid, pulp filtration to produce a solid sediment with its subsequent drying. The white slurry production process is performed in two base stages. The first stage filtrate is returned into alumina production while the sediment from the 1^st stage filter is delivered into the 2^nd stage for repulping with water; at the first stage white slurry pulping is performed with water at a temperature no lower than 70°C, at the second stage - with water at a temperature of 15-25°C with maintenance during 60-90 minutes. Generated pulp is neutralised with sulphuric acid till pH is equal to 6.0-9.0; the produced fodder contains bayerite in its structure and has the following chemical composition, %: Al₂O₃ - 20-30; SiO₂ - 20-25; Fe₂O₃ - 10-15; CaO - 8-12; Na₂O - 12-15; SO₃ - 3-5; K₂O - 0.3-0.5.

EFFECT: invention usage will allow to reduce sulphuric acid consumption and expand sorption capacities of the additive as well as exclude gypsum from the additive composition
