FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lighting technology on the basis of blue-glowing light diodes InGaN, in particular, to luminescent materials, including ittrium oxide, oxides of rare-earth metals, and also aluminium oxide taken in the ratio providing for production of a light-emitting composition, the average structure of which corresponds to the common formula (Y1-x-yCexΣLny)3+αAl5O12+1,5α, where α - value that characterises rise of stoichiometric index in comparison with the one available for ittrium-gadolinium garnet and varying in the range from 0.033 to 2; x - atomic share of cerium equal to 0.001-0.1; ΣLny = one or several lanthanides from the group of Gd, Tb, La, Yb, the atomic share of which in the ittrium sublattice makes, accordingly: 0.01 <Gd<0.70; 0.001<Tb<0.2; 0.001<La<0.1; 0.001<Yb<0.1, at the same time for all compositions the difference is [1-x-y]>0.
EFFECT: expanded assortment of inorganic luminescent materials for solid-state sources of white light.
