SUBSTANCE: combined free piston electric gas generator includes free piston gas generator with internal combustion chamber, free piston energy module with heat-exchanger placed into internal combustion chamber of gas generator, and control system. Heat-exchanger is streamlined by products of engine fuel burning and combustion, through the walls of which heat energy is transmitted to air in heat-exchanger, from where control system takes heated air and supplies to expansion machines of energy module.
EFFECT: supply of electric energy to expansion machines of power units with simultaneous feeding of electric energy of their control systems.
