SUBSTANCE: pH-metering is used to measure a skin acidity level within a red border. If the pH level is more than 4.52 units, a moderate degree of activity of chronic hepatitis is stated; pH within 4.52 to 5.76 units enables stating a mild degree of activity of chronic hepatitis, and the pH value exceeding 5.76 units shows chronic hepatitis with minimal activity of a pathological process.
EFFECT: method enables a substantially immediate assessment of a degree of activity of chronic hepatitis in the patients suffering chronic hepatitis C thereby increasing a level of diagnosing of the diseases, and requires no needle biopsy of liver.
