FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: according to versions of the method oil products are extracted from formation by pumping of nano-catalyst into formation and heating of heavy oil in it. According to one version of invention the method includes pumping of catalytic material containing nano-catalyst into formation with heavy oil, impact on heavy oil and catalytic material by reductive agent, for instance by hydrogen, installation of steam plant in formation, generation and output of steam from steam plant for heating of heavy oil containing catalytic material, forming of lighter oil products from heavy oil in formation with lower viscosity and extraction of lighter oil products from formation. According to the other version of invention the method is created including impact on heavy oil and catalytic material by oxidising agent, for instance by oxygen. Nano-catalyst may contain cobalt, iron, nickel, molybdenum, wolframium, titanium, vanadium, their alloys, their oxides, their derivatives and combinations.
EFFECT: increasing production efficiency of hydrocarbons due to enhancement of nano-catalysts distribution in formations.
