FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: torque transmission device includes input and output shafts of torque loading mechanism (1) with actuating mechanism assembly, control units, hydraulic system (2), automatic control unit (3) of hydraulic system electrically connected to it, as well as torque measuring device (4). Torque loading mechanism (1) includes a gear transmission assembly and a reduction gear. Actuating mechanism assembly is made in the form of two modules: torque loading module and torque unloading module. Gear transmission assembly has the possibility of free rotation with equal frequency together with input and driven shafts in idle mode and creation of torque of the specified value in kinematic chain, its retention, multiple increase or decrease, as well as release to zero value.
EFFECT: invention allows creating the torque with value of up to 4000 kgf·m during testing of shafts, units, machines, drives and other heavy-loaded mechanisms, as well as creating the required axial forces in the specified direction owing to providing the specified transmission ratio in torque loading mechanism.
