SUBSTANCE: image signal processing device has a unit (111) for determining the basic level of displacement which detects the displacement level of the video image; a timing controller (110) for dividing one frame period into periods which contain at least one period of subframe A and at least one period of subframe B; a unit (107) for generating a subframe A image signal, which smoothes image signals fed to pixels during the period of subframe A in accordance with the displacement level of the video image; a unit (108) for generating a subframe B image signal, which emphasises image signals fed to pixels during the period of subframe B in accordance with the displacement level of the video image; and a unit (112) for determining the applied displacement level which determines, based on the displacement level of the video image of the current frame and the displacement level of the video image of the previous frame, the applied displacement level which is applied to the unit (107) for generating a subframe A image signal and/or the unit (108) for generating a subframe B image signal.

EFFECT: eliminating the boundary spot without reducing brightness of a moving object and flicker.
