FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method implemented through application of a package of two gas turbines and arrangement of magnetic supports in the form of combined magnetic bearings and as well as through installation of two emergency bearings and toe bearings on permanent magnets on the vertical shaft.
EFFECT: extension of functional capabilities of high-rate magnetoelectric machines thanks to provision for the possibility to adjust and control the rotor position not only in the radial but also in the axial direction and ensuring increased rigidity of the rotor system suspension which enhances the machine reliability.
