FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contactless magnetic bearings of rotary mechanisms, and particularly to devices for passive (static) magnetic bearings of flywheels of kinematic energy storages. The combined superconducting magnetic bearing for kinematic energy storage comprises a housing, a vacuum chamber, a flywheel, a static magnetic support bearing, a sealed wall, a thermostatic cooler, as well as disc-type superconducting magnetic bearing, which includes a stator with a block of high-temperature superconducting elements with a cooling system and a rotor with annular permanent magnets mounted on its shaft, wherein opposite the end surfaces of the rotor, which are conical, there are concentrically installed tapered bushings with annular permanent magnets arranged in the end surface of the bushings, wherein the bushings are configured to move in the axial direction and rotate around their axis.
EFFECT: invention broadens the functions of a magnetic bearing, which enables use thereof as elements of a retaining device, auxiliary bearing and initial centering unit of a flywheel.
