FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: laboratory system comprises, at least, one or more devices to transfer specimens, at least, one device to prepare, analyse and/or process specimens, at least, one device for manipulating specimens in the area of processing device, and tracing system to maintain safe distance. Note here that said manipulating device can transfer specimen between transfer device and processing device. Manipulating is arranged on transfer device to be displaced between, at least, two processing devices. Tracing device is composed of tracing system displacing together with manipulating device and including tracing device with camera to generate distant images and/or locating system with, at least, one receiver and, at least, one transmitter. Note also that said receiver is mounted in moving transfer device to generate warning signal in case said one transmitter is located at distance from receiver smaller than minimum distance.

EFFECT: joint operation of operator and machine.
