FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber modification, particularly, to production of modified timber. In compliance with proposed method, blanks are impregnated with 30-40%-water solution of carbamide including prepolymer of urea-formaldehyde oligomer (UFO), dried compacted and heat treated. Note here that reinforcer, that is, 25%-water solution of fibrillar nanocellulose is added to impregnation solution in amount of 15-18% of UFO weight. Water used for said solution is activated by magnetisation to anolyte with redox potential of 800-900 mV and pH=2.5.
EFFECT: higher yield, stiffness and strength.
