FIELD: wood impregnation.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to wood impregnation. The composition for the preparation of a solution for impregnating wood is a dry mixture, including urea and the main catalyst, which is used as zinc chloride. The composition additionally contains ammophos and boric acid. Wood is impregnated with an impregnation solution using the "vacuum-pressure-vacuum" mode, followed by drying and heat treatment of wood by heating. The wood is vacuumed at a pressure of not more than -0.8 MPa for at least 1.5 hours, after which it is impregnated with an aqueous solution of a dry mixture of the composition at a temperature of at least 50 ° C and a pressure of up to 0.5 MPa for at least 5 hours, and then re-evacuated at a pressure not more than -0.8 MPa for 1-2 hours. Drying is carried out by heating the impregnated wood at a temperature of up to 95 ° C in a vacuum at a pressure of not more than -0.8 MPa until the moisture content of the wood is not more than 20%. Heat treatment is carried out at a pressure of at least 0.5 MPa and a temperature of up to 200°C until the moisture content of the wood is not more than 5%.
EFFECT: fire-, bio-, moisture resistance of wood increases.
